The Bible tells us to give thanks in all circumstances, but how can we do that?

We can give thanks in all circumstances because God is good. 30 Days of Thanksgiving at MississippiMom.com

I can hear my Kenyan pastor saying, “God is good?”

He always left the question hanging in the air, waiting for the response he knew he’d receive.

“All the time,” the church responded.

“All the time?” he asked.

“God is good.”

That truth is central to the very idea of thanksgiving, isn’t it?

Because circumstances are not always good.

People are not always good.

Situations are not always good.

But God is.

And he works everything for the good of those who love him.

Today, we can praise him because no matter what else changes, he does not.
