12 Days of Christmas…with Kids!

So, I sort of fell off the face of the earth in November.  I mean, I did post EVERY SINGLE DAY in October so I deserved a month off, right?  Actually, I think I just ran out of words for a while.

To make up for it, I have a little something fun planned for this month.

If you’re anything like me, the thought of the holidays is a little overwhelming to you.

I have enough to do already, you know?

I might have set the bar a bit too high in the past with cookie decorating and craft making, and I loved doing so.

But I have four kids now.

I’m not great at math, but that more than doubles the amount of mess any cooking or craft with kids creates.

So, I decided that this year’s fun and festive activities were going to be simple.

I thought you might appreciate easy-to-make Christmas goodies and quick and simple crafts, too, so I’ll be sharing them with you this month.

Don’t expect a post every day…this isn’t October.

But, between now and Christmas Eve, we’ll have 12 Days of Christmas with Kids, and I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as we will!

And, let’s face it:  Pinterest has been the inspiration for many (or most) of the crafts and cooking projects I’ll post.  I won’t always remember where the ideas came from, but I’d love to have you follow me on Pinterest and see what’s inspiring me these days!
