We met Dorcas in the middle of Mathare Valley, one of Kenya's largest slums. She and some other women were sitting in a small alley/courtyard creating beaded art. In a dimly lit room behind her we found a treasure trove of jewelry, all lovingly handmade by Dorcas and the other women of her group. Look at that smile, y'all. Beautiful and bright.
