Are you searching?

Seeking?

I heard a profound thought on Moody radio this week.

When God came to earth to be our Savior (John 1:14), He could have come anywhere.

Why didn’t he come to dwell in Jerusalem in the temple?  Why not in the “Holy of Holies”?

He was tabernacled with us as was God’s glory and presence in the wilderness Tabernacle.

Jesus was and IS God with us. (Matthew 1:23)

He chose to come to earth to be like us.  He came to be a servant.  He came to provide meaning to our seeking and searching.

Praise to God for Jesus!  The world needs His joy.  I need his JOY!

Peter expressed it well in 1 Peter 1.

“Our faith…what inexpressible and glorious JOY!”
