I’ve been a bit behind at blogging during the past few weeks, and while I could list the reasons for days, I’ll just share this one with you: This time next week, I will be on my way to Africa.
It’s hard to believe, but not in that normal, “we’ve been planning this trip for ages” kind of way…in a much more “what a whirlwind this has been” kind of way. And it has. Since the day my husband said, “I think you should go” to the reality that set in with the yellow fever vaccine I got last week, things have been moving fast around here. But they have been moving. And falling into place. Perfectly. In a way that can only mean that the plans I’ve been making aren’t really mine at all.
So, I’m trying to trust. And not fear. And believe. And then trust some more….
And, I could use your prayers. So, as I travel I’ll keep blogging, and I’d love it if you’d keep reading and start praying.
