Y’all, there are people who are doing big things. Kristen and Trena come to mind. I’m pretty sure they’d both tell you that God is the one doing the big things through them. Sometimes, when you consider all of the needs in the world, you might be tempted to think there’s no way you can help. I feel that way sometimes.
Which is why I love it when I come across little ways to help a lot.
Here are a few:
- Help feed people in need by pinning recipes from Land O’Lakes. For every meal you pin before May 1, they’ll give 8 meals to Americans who are hungry. Pin with a purpose, y’all! Just follow this link.
- Read with your kids so other kids can! WeGiveBooks.com is a free online library of children’s books that enables your kids to help other children around the world while they’re reading. Read a book, give a book. It’s that easy!
- Practice vocabulary and feed the hungry at freerice.com. This one’s been around a while, but it’s a quick, fun way to help feed people.
So, there you have it….a quick sampling of quick ways to make a difference in the world.
