This week, we kick off the holiday season, and if you’re like me, you can already feel the pressure of where you’ll go, what you’ll do, what you’ll cook….We get so busy that sometimes we forget what Christmas is all about:
WORSHIP.
It’s what the angels did, it’s what the shepherds did, it’s what the wise men did, and it’s what we should be doing, too.
With that in mind, I’d like to offer you a guide for worship Christmas. A daily devotional for the month of December, designed to lead you and your family to do more than celebrate…to worship.
Each day includes a short reflection then suggestions for further reading in the Word or activities that will help your family worship together. Don’t worry though! You don’t have to be surrounded by family to use this guide. All you need is a heart to worship and seek the one worthy of it.
I wrote this guide for my church several years ago and shared it here on MississippiMom once, too, but I’ve updated it and added a little bit to make it a full month of devotions. It doesn’t follow the traditional Sundays of Advent but gives you readings that will take you all the way through to the new year.
As my way of saying “thank you” this Thanksgiving week to all of you for reading MississippiMom.com, I’d like to offer this ebook as a free download for the month of December to all my subscribers. Just enter your email address below to subscribe and you’ll receive your free download!
I hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving and hope this little book will be an encouragement to you and your family this Christmas!
