Today, we made homemade sunbutter because of some food allergies and a promise I made to a little one who likes to eat sunbutter and pears.
So, he ate his sunbutter and pears and wanted more “green pears” like his sister had.
They were apples, about which he says, “don’t like them.”
So I gave him the apples and we called them pears.
Dishonest? Yes. But what’s a mom to do?
Update: He might have called them “pears,” but he didn’t eat them. Maybe he “don’t like them” after all.
