Joy.  It’s an earmark of the Christian life, or at least it’s supposed to be.  Being joyful isn’t always easy though.  Read on to find encouragement to help you “rejoice in the Lord always.”

How to Have Joy | Can we really rejoice at all times? | Christian Living with Joy | Philippians

Some of the most recognizable words from the book of Philippians are “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again, ‘Rejoice!'” (Philippians 4:4)

They were written by a man in chains so we kind of have to take him seriously.

I mean, if he could rejoice, can’t we?

But, there must be a reason he had to keep reminding the church to rejoice. I think he must have known just how hard it is to do sometimes.

Maybe you do, too.

5 Blog Posts about Joyful Living

Today, I’d like to share some posts from the past that I hope will encourage you to rejoice right now.

Joy is a choice. –  What is “joy”?  Is it the same as happiness?  What does it look like in the life of a Christian?

FMF: Joy. – Joy is often like the rising of the sun, brilliant and surprising and found in the darkest times.

No One Will Take Away Your Joy – What is the source of joy that endures during times of trial?  How can Christians walk through grief and still rejoice?

The Key to Finding Joy in Your Journey –   What’s the secret to living a joyful life?  How do we find it? Where should we look?

Peace and Joy and Proverbs 12 –  What does Proverbs have to say about joyful living?  What does peace have to do with it?

I’d love to read some of your posts about joy.  Leave a link in the comments or share how you rejoice in all things!  Also, please join us for Encouraging Word Wednesday this week!
