Because they say “bapple” instead of “apple”….

Because she woke up this morning, reached for me and said “Pretty mommy”….

Because he saw me tearing up the old brown linoleum and said, “You’re ruining the beautiful floor!”…

Because she is a peacemaker and a servant….

Because he is adventure that lives and breathes….

Because they make everything doubly challenging and twice as rewarding….

Because she loves color….

Because he loves cats….

Because they ask for chai and eat sukumu wiki….

I will sit here, tired but thankful.  I will rejoice even when I’m restless.  I will see the gifts that are my girls and boy.

Because….

I’m visiting from FMF. I love this take on “because.” To reflect on your kids…so sweet and special! BTW, I lived in MS for about six months, just before and during Hurricane Katrina. Then we moved back to our home state of PA. We lived in Lauderdale, just northeast of Meridian. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

What a delightful post! You have such wonderful reasons to say “because”, and what better ones could there be than your dear children and their own individual take on life? Lovely blog. Glad to have seen you at my place and over at FMF. Blessings to you and yours. 🙂
