It was one of those things…those GOD things.  The other day, I was with my sister at her daughter’s tumbling class and ran into a friend I haven’t seen in years and never dreamed I’d see there.  She was watching her granddaughter tumble…or at least she was before I came along.  We talked for an hour, and what an encouragement it was!  What an encouragement she was!  She brought news of friends who’re far away, as well as some who are near.  She shared the work that God is doing in a land I love and how he’s allowed her to be part of his work there.  She asked about my husband and our family, and in such a way, I know she cares.  And, I left that place so encouraged, so blessed and so certain that God ordained our meeting there. He’s so good that way, isn’t he?

Not only does he meet our needs, he does it in delightfully surprising ways sometimes.

God is so cool like that…..he has little gifts for us that we had no idea would come on an ordinary day. No day is ordinary with God.
