Long time, No update….

This post contains affiliate links to products mentioned. For more information, read my disclosure policy.

So, I’ve started and stopped several posts over the past few weeks…they’re all still stuck in the “drafts” folder.  Why?  Well, I haven’t wanted to turn this blog into “all pregnancy all the time” and bore you to tears with every twin pregnancy trial we face.  I also haven’t been up to much lately, and it’s a little hard to write about being out and about when I’m not out and about much at all!

That said, updates abound.  First off, the babies are looking good so far.  We have been monitoring their growth very closely so I just never know if the next post you read will be titled “They’re here!”.

Second, I just want you to know that this pregnancy has been double the fun all around.  In fact, though I passed the glucose tolerance test (three-hour) weeks ago, my doctors like to test again when a patient is expecting multiples.  Good thing they did….I failed miserably.  So, restaurant reviews and sweet recipes are out for awhile…unless I find something whole wheat, low-carb and delicious to share, of course!    Oh, wait…I don’t cook anymore.  I do still watch cooking shows and read cooking blogs which, like reading or watching things about Africa, is either sheer torture or future inspiration…depends on the day.

Today, my mom is here, which is a mega blessing because the kids are home so I need help.  We’re dying eggs and resting, and I’m reflecting on the fact that I am not ashamed, I am not condemned, and I am not afraid…and it’s all because of Christ.

P.S.  do expect to see a bit more blogging soon…there’s much going on.  I’ve got a guest blogger with a FUN assignment lined up for the near future, and I’ve got some really fun things to share for spring and summer!
