Make-It-Yourself Monday: Easy Applique

If you’ve ever wondered if you could make a cute little outfit with an applique on the shirt, the answer is “yes!”.  It’s easy.  Here’s why:

 

Heat ‘N Bond.

 

With just a little bit of ironing, you can applique almost anything….Here’s how I know:

 


I made this outfit for my son in just a few hours on Sunday.  Here’s a close-up of the applique:

After bonding the fabric to the shirt following the instructions on the Heat ‘n Bond, I used a decorative stitch around the edges and added the tassel tail.  I’m thinking I might add a little button for an eye, but even with that little detail, this could not have been easier!
