My life is one big, embarrassing blog post. Like when:
- I drive away from Wal-Mart with the back-end of my minivan still up. And then…
- I have to rearrange the stroller in the middle of traffic, and it JUST WON’T FIT. Or when…
- I decide we’re getting rid of pull-ups on the very day our water goes out.
Somehow, I’m sure you get the picture.
Other days, it feels like I just might be supermom after all. Like when:
- Something so simple makes them feel so special. Or when…
- I dance with daughters on dirty floors without even wondering when they might get mopped. Or when…
- They toddle behind me from room to room simply because they want to be near me.
This motherhood thing, it’s a balance. There are bad days and good and days that are both. And, I’m learning that the grace that covers them all makes the bad days bearable and the good days better.
“And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)
