Feelings are strong. They affect how we see the world and how we react to the people in it, but there’s something you should know.
Feelings are not always the same as facts.
They’re easier to believe sometimes though, like when we’re lonely or afraid, and we begin to mistake the ebb of our emotions for something more solid.
Like truth…because feelings don’t change facts.
So base your faith on what is firm.
The way you feel is temporary, changing over time.
God’s word is eternal, ever constant and true, and it tells a lot of truth about you:
You may be lonely, but you’re never alone.
You may feel defeated, but you’re more than a conqueror.
You will not be abandoned.
And, you are always loved.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m always amazed that many times it is in the fewer words that the most profound truths come out of.
I was especially struck when you said,
“You may be lonely, but you’re never alone.
You may feel defeated, but you’re more than a conqueror.
You will not be abandoned.
Grace is enough.
And, you are always loved.”
You’ve touched on the key Truths that are perfect tools for taking every thought born out of feelings captive to the obedience of Christ.
