Thursday Thoughts…Things from movies on my mind?

First, let me say, I will be posting another one of the 52 Things before the end of the week, but right now, I have some pretty random thoughts in my head…from movies, no less!

For instance, there is only one movie my son will actually sit and watch.  That’s not a bad thing, unless you get tired of watching the same thing over and over…like I do sometimes.  His favorite move is Cars 2.  When he wants to watch it, he takes my hand, points toward the computer and says, “Vroom, vroom!”

Anyway, with Cars 2 on the computer about twice a day, I found myself wondering about what kind of car I would be…if I were a car.  Seriously, I was making cupcakes yesterday afternoon and pondering the question all the while.  (I really am not joking though I am a bit embarrassed to admit it.)  I didn’t really come up with anything.  I mean, I’m a mom so would I be a minivan?  (I don’t even drive one.)  I’m carrying twins and toting a toddler so maybe I’m more like a bus or some other people-mover?  I’d love to be a safari vehicle, but I’m no where near the savanna.  I’m NOT a red car of any kind.  But I might be an electric one.  My source of power must be plugged into, you know?

Another thing I’ve been thinking of a lot lately is Steel Magnolias.  Not the whole movie…just two lines really.  Here they are:

“My colors are blush and bashful.”

“Your colors are pink and pink.”

Ours, too.  Ours, too!
