Why I keep letting her bring them home….

This post contains affiliate links to products mentioned. For more information, read my disclosure policy.

I don’t like caterpillars.  Sorry, but it’s true.  My daughter, however, loves them, and almost every day, she brings another one…or two…or five…home from school.  And I let her…regardless of the fact I fear finding them in places like my kitchen.

I let her just so I can hear her say:

“Calla-pitter.”

Charlie, maybe the fascination with “CALLA-PITTERS” is from her teacher reading Eric Carle’s “The Very Hungry Caterpillar?” Ask her?

Also, “Mr. Bill” said, “Tell Charlie, some caterpillars are poisonous! Watch out for the ones with sharp spines.!” My husband knows about stuff like that!

Thanks, Mrs. Ginger! And thank Mr. Bill, too! I’ll ask her about the book…it’s a good one!
